Chaparral Winds Memory Care is a Wing off of the Assisted Living Community that is dedicated to assist those with Memory Loss. All care givers are specifically trained to provide the personal attention required by these special residents. Continuous, stimulating activities designed to enhance the quality of life of the residents are offered each day in a nurturing, safe environment. Because we have a higher ratio of care givers to residents in our Serenity unit, we are able to continually monitor and evaluate each resident's condition and respond quickly to the individual needs. Prior to move-in a resident is given a complete assessment by our licensed Chaparral Winds staff, in order to develop a personal care plan that is unique to him or her. A modest deposit will hold the apartment of your choice until move-in. Should you not move in for any reason, that deposit is completely refundable. Your monthly base rent includes: l Three meals per day and snacks l All utilities including cable TV l 24 hour staffing l Daily tidying of your apartment l Weekly deep cleaning of your apartment l Personal laundry weekly l Once a week laundering of bed and bath linens l Maintenance of your apartment, grounds & common areas l Scheduled transportation to Appointments or Shopping l A rich program of activities l An emergency call system l Bathing l Dressing l Grooming l Oral care l Ongoing orientation and guidance.* All other needed services outlined in your personal care plan will be a nominal fee above the base rent.
